EMPOWER & ACHIEVE

Imagine...

Elevating your career and shining in leadership roles.

You might feel like you are stuck, doing the same work day in and day out with no clear path to growth. Not receiving clear or actionable feedback on what you need to improve or demonstrate to be considered for a promotion. Uncertainty about what the next level actually entails. Watching others move up while feeling left behind,

LEARN & GROW

Leadership Communication & Executive Presence

Whether going from individual contributor to manager or manager to executive, there's a pivotal shift required to reach the next level of leadership. In our current roles, we become experts in the data and details of our current scope.

We have insights into the ins-and-outs that no one else understands as deeply. Being a subject matter expert exercised our analytical muscles. However, just knowing the details is not enough to inspire others to take action - which is the core requirement to be an effective leader ot the next level. The skills to rally people towards a vision are completely different from our analytical abilities that made us experts in our current roles.

The difference between being good at your current level vs. reaching new heights comes down to this: Can you inspire action in others using the data you know so well? Those who can make this transition go from domain experts to inspirational leaders. Leveling up requires flexing an entirely new set of muscles. It's no longer just about mastering the details, but painting an exciting vision that moves people's hearts and minds.

This shift is essential for elevating your impact and growth, and that's why I'm so excited that you are interested in learning more about the Leadership Communication & Executive Presence program! I've opened up a few spots to show high achieving Product Leaders how to demonstrate the communication skills and executive presence required to be recognized by leadership so you can thrive at the next level of your career. -No alt text provided for this image

questions

  • I am a natural empath, which means I naturally take on feelings that other people feel. This is both good and bad. It's good because I don't just empathize with you because I can actually feel your pain, which can sometimes be bad if I don't set firm boundaries.

I emphasize on inner work when I detect negative self talk which ends up impacting how you show up in interviews and at work.

  • Change the text and add your own content, including any information that is relevant to share. Then customize the font, size and scale to make it your own.

  • Earlier on, I was very uncomfortable with silence on a call. This can happen when I ask a question, and my mentee would need time to process the question. But I used to feel that silence meant the mentee did not knowing the answer, so I’d jump in and answer it for them.

This is not effective and I’ve since worked on myself and on my approach to allow more space that enables the mentee to process the information.

This learning is huge for me, especially when we are doing inner work. And I also ask the mentee to hold me accountable, don’t let me jump in. And if they see that I’m jumping in, they need to call me out on it.

I’d also ask the mentee to describe what is going through their mind, ie let me process this a bit.

  • I realized that more than half of my coaching sessions revolved around mindset and inner work. When I notice limiting beliefs in my mentees, I'd recommend that we work on mindset first before working on tactics. Nancy's coaching is transformative. With 12 years in the tech industry, including 8 at Big Tech (Amazon and META), I regret not finding her sooner. Her blend of empathy, practical frameworks, and mindset work equips you with the tools for mental resilience in facing professional challenges with courage and clarity. Nancy excels at reframing problem statements and fostering a multi-perspective mindset. Her deep understanding of product management, drawn from years in the field, uniquely positions her to guide professionals through the role’s complexities. Nancy has the gift. I’d had a challenging couple years in business, working hard to confront some deeper wounds and learning big lessons. In one conversation, Nancy offered her natural grounded, soft, resolute energy in a way that shifted something for me tectonically—all the lessons I’d been trying to integrate fell into place, and I was able to see my professional success as something that just WAS, rather than something I have to strive for. This shift into easeful assuredness opened me up to a $50,000 contract (with an ideal customer!) that showed up on my doorstep the next week—marking a new threshold for my impact.
